Renee has obtained a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida. She is currently undergoing clinical supervision to obtain board certification to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Renee focuses on client-first care, catering to both individuals and family units, and strongly believes that the idea of “family” is defined by the members of that family. She strives to provide both individual and group care tailored to each specific client’s needs, with a focus on strengthening relationships and working with families of all configurations and types. Renee has experience working in a multitude of settings, including healthcare, crisis intervention, substance abuse, and domestic violence situations. She is familiar with both outpatient and inpatient care, and practices individual, family, couples’, and group therapy with adolescents and adults. She works to find the best therapeutic techniques for each unique situation, informing her decisions with evidence-based practices and client collaboration.”
