It is the recommendation of the Better Beginnings team that our clients are provided with as much information as they need to have a discussion with their obstetric, midwifery or primary care provider regarding the new vaccines related to pregnancy and postpartum. It is important to note that the available emergency-use vaccines have not yet been tested on pregnant and breastfeeding women; therefore, there is naturally not a whole of lot of specific outcome information available. We believe that only you know what is best for you and your family in this decision-making process; having the available information may help you in that decision and discussion.
