“Did I just pee myself?”
Yep, the body can experience a LOT of changes related to pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. Changes in the abdominal and pelvic floor musculature are an ordinary part of pregnancy. We will talk about all of the “taboo” issues that women are often apprehensive to talk about.
Topics such as diastasis recti (separating of ab muscles), incontinence, vaginal tears, intercourse postpartum, C-section scar healing, and pelvic organ prolapse will be discussed. There will also be information and opportunity to practice core and pelvic floor exercises. This will be an interactive and candid class so bring ALL of your questions. (Even those that you may have been scared to ask anyone!)
This class is taught from the perspective of physical therapist and mother of two children, Mandy Roscow, who has 18 years of experience primarily focusing on women’s pelvic health.
